Both vertigo and dizziness are symptoms that occurs as a result of a disturbance in your balance (vestibular) system. Your vestibular system is responsible for integrating sensory stimuli and movement and keeping objects in visual focus as the body moves.

There are also exercises that you can do at home to help settle your symptoms.
