If I see a Chiropractor once, does it mean I have to keep going?

Once I see a Chiropractor do I need to keep going for the rest of my life?

Someone asked me whilst we were chatting at a coffee shop the other day “If I see a Chiropractor once, do I need to keep going for the rest of my life?” and at first it caught me off guard. My initial response was “No… but a lot of people choose to come in periodically because they know how much better they feel with regular treatment.”

You see, any manual therapy whether it be Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Massage, or Myotherapy, should initially be used to either get you out of pain or improve any problems with how your’e moving. Once this initial phase of care is complete the decision is always yours as to how much benefit you would like to get out of our services.

Just like going to the gym on a regular basis, or going to the Dentist for periodic check-ups, a lot of our patients choose to continue with additional treatment once they are out of pain and moving well because they know how much better they feel when their body is working at its optimum. Of course their is always going to be times when people have let their issues go on so long that they have developed significant enough to require on-going management rather than a quick fix!

At Thrive Heath Co. we are always here for you no matter what your goals might be. Whether your focus is just getting rid of your headache, learning how to pick up your baby without pain, running a marathon, or just simply feeling great we are always here to help you on your journey. We are always here to educate you along the way and ensure you are equipped with all the knowledge you need to live a pain free life which allows you to do all things you want to do and more!

Book in to see one of our highly experienced Chiropractors today. Like our motto says: “Why just Survive, When You Can Thrive”.
